11 Hurt When NGHTMRE Tour Bus Crashes on I-45 South in Houston
March 2, 2020
Last Saturday morning, February 29, 2020, all eleven people were injured when their tour bus was involved in a crash on I-45 South in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. as a charter bus was transporting NGHTMRE and his production crew from Dallas to Houston, where he was scheduled to perform later that evening.
As a result of this crash, they were not able to feature “The Portal” stage for that night’s show.
According to the Houston Fire Department, the bus was headed towards the west when the bus unexpectedly veered off the road and crashed on a barricade.
The local ABC 13 News reported that all passengers on the tour bus suffered minor injuries; six were treated at the scene and five were severely injured and were taken to the local hospital.
Multiple lanes on the southbound were closed for several hours until the crane lifted the bus from the freeway barrier.
Bus accidents on the road can happen without warning; luckily, nobody was seriously hurt.
